I spoke at a Curry Quiz Night in Harrogate on “Is there more to life than this?” at the Shalimar Restaurant in Cheltenham Parade for Hope Church. Every seat was taken and it was fun standing in the middle of the room, doing a complete 360 speaking to all the guests and of course the waiters too. The “Closed” sign was up on the door for the whole evening, and there was a tremendous buzz inside. Churches across Harrogate had come together to put on Alpha launch events every night of the week, and this was one such.
