In full flow at Exeter University speaking about the resurrection of Jesus. In the first talk I had some of the best questions I’ve ever received in the 15 or so years I’ve been working with this material. I know that some people who came who were not Christians were fully persuaded. I know of at least one person who was totally convinced by the evidence. They join a stellar tradition of those who have gone before. In fact two of the people I have or will be interviewing in the evenings this week, Gary Streeter MP and Professor Christine Done from the Physics Department at Durham University – both Gary and Chris were converted after investigating the evidence for the resurrection of Jesus. By the way, the students have done a brilliant job this week organising “More than this”. At every lunch and every evening event I’ve spoken at we’ve had at least one or two people who’ve told us they are not part of any church, nor part of the Christian Union, respond by saying yes to Christ, “count me in”. And we’ve had lots more say they’d “like to know more”.
