Christ Community Church, Attleborough

Julia & I have had a great two days with Christ Community Church, Attleborough. We did three sessions of interviews and teaching. We were invited by our great friends Rob & Christine Tervet, who lead the church. I first came across Rob as the pioneer of “Who Cares?” a user-friendly low-cringe evangelistic initiative which involves asking your local community one question: “What hurts the most?”. The reply is given anonymously on a card. Hundreds of churches have partnered in “Who Cares?” missions across Norfolk, Suffolk and Hampshire. Rob ran a “Who Cares?” project out of Newday, the annual youth event at the Norfolk Showground near Norwich a few years ago and we’ve stayed friends since. During the weekend in Attleborough Julia and I were asked to tell several stories of God’s provision and kindness towards us over the years. It was great to be reminded of these. I’m now going back to Norwich for the University of East Anglia Christian Union Events week which starts tomorrow.
