This is a photo just before I went on stage for the first night of the Manchester city wide student mission week last night. Here the hosts are reading the bible passage, shortly before the talk. We have the most fantastic venue for the evening events, King’s Church, Manchester, which is right in the heart of student land, it’s literally opposite the sports centre and it’s a great place to gather people from the 4 universities which have come together for this mission week, i.e University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University, The Royal Northern College of Music and Salford University. So far adding together the three events I’ve spoken at, there are 9 people who have told us they are not part of church, nor part of a Christian Union, who have left their name and number asking to meet up with someone to find out more about Christianity.
