On the opening day of the Southampton University events week, we had 18 different people who told us they are not part of any church, nor part of the Christian Union who left their name and phone number seeking more. Of these 18, there were 8 who ticked “count me in” and an additional 10 who are also not church, nor CU who did not tick “count me in” but did say they’d “like to know more”. So it’s been an encouraging start given that we want to reach people who are not yet Christians and don’t normally go to church, so to have these 18 wanting more contact today is a great news.
