Last night Julia and I went down to East Grinstead where, after dinner, we enjoyed a Q & A with around 70 leaders at Jubilee Community Church. This is a church that has supported us in various ways over many years, and Simon had invited us down so that the church could better better get to know a couple they’ve been investing in. Simon picked out questions from a box, and we sat on bar stools holding microphones and talked about all kinds of aspects of our family life and ministry. I’m not sure we’ve ever done this kind of Q & A before, though in the car home Julia said she thought we had. Anyway, we really enjoyed being with our friends Simon & Gwen and Laurence & Rochelle Evans. Then after driving Julia home, I was back down there this morning for 9am and 11am services at JCC, where i had lots of fun speaking on “Christ in you the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:27). A tremendous time seeking to equip the saints for works of service. And by the way, driving through Surrey, I discovered that outside London it’s been snowing!
