I very much enjoyed being back at Gateway Church, Swindon on Sunday. Their Sunday venue is adjoined to The Bible Society (never really knew where they were based) and in the four years since I was last there, the church has grown quite a lot, going to two services. It was great re-connecting with some folks I know there and I had some great questions afterwards, with lots of people asking me to email them my notes! And lots of “if only so-and-so had come to hear that then . . .” I was very blessed to have lunch afterwards with Colin & Emma Thornton, who lead the church and who gave me a fantastic lunch at their home that I didn’t really deserve. Good to hear of Gateway Church’s plan to go to two sites next year.
