Delighted to report that tonight we had the highest ever Sunday attendance in the long history of Barnabas Community Church, Shrewsbury, when I spoke at their Carol Service this evening. There were 447 people there tonight, 4 more than the previous high Sunday! On the drive home, I got a text from Pastor Terry Hotchkiss also saying that 25 people not part of any church, had prayed the salvation response prayer. So it was a hugely encouraging evening, and my first time seeing the huge former drill hall full. It’s a church I have worked with for 14 years, so it was very much an answer to many prayers. The music was compered tonight by 17 year old Tim Burns, who conducted the large choir, led the band, did beat box on the 5 part choral group Quintessential, and chatted to the congregation in between times. A phenomenal all round gifting. This morning I spoke at BCC in Birmingham where we had around 1000 present on campus across the two services. No news as yet in terms of the response from there, but a great vibe and great feedback from everyone I spoke to. More to follow on my visit to Birmingham. Pic is of me preaching at Barnabas Shrewsbury tonight.
