17 salvation responses in Bishop’s Stortford
Adrian Holloway on December 15, 2015 with 0 CommentsI’ve just heard that 17 people who told us they are not part of church, prayed the salvation response prayer at Bishop’s Stortford Community Church, when I spoke at two evening Carol Services on Sunday. And 4 more also not part of church, said they wanted to know more. So this was an encouraging end to a day that for me started in Hull, with a tremendous celebration at Jubilee Church, and then a 3 hour drive over the Humber Bridge, through Lincoln and onto the A1 and then the M11 to arrive at Bishop’s Stortford in time for 4.00pm and 6.00pm Carol Services. It was great to partner again with Peter Vincent and all my friends at the Community Church, who featured a large local gospel choir, who did a superb version of “Go tell it on the Mountain”. Attendance was estimated about 340. My Carol Service run is not yet over, but it’s proving very fruitful! I thank God for the opportunity to speak to so many hundreds of people at this time of year, who don’t normally go to church.
