52 responses to the gospel at Keele

52 people who told us they are not part of any church nor part of the Christian Union prayed the salvation response prayer when I spoke at Keele University CU Carol Service last night. And a further 6 also not church nor CU, who did not pray the prayer said they wanted to “discover more.” The Carols were built on the excellent Keele University Brass Band Society, who even had uniforms, and a gospel singing group called “Jesus Jam” who all called me “Sir”! and who did a great job with “Mary did you know?” and Boney M’s “Mary’s Boy Child”. A massive well done to Hannah Boyle who organised a great Carol Service in what is really a rock venue or dance venue. We had a crush barrier in between the congregation and the stage. For their first time Carols in the Student Union it was a superb event.
