I’m just back from my first visit to Life Church, Peterborough, a church which grew by 30 per cent last year, and I was made to feel very welcome by Adam and Lorna Bradley (pictured) who have done a great job leading the church. It was my first experience of preaching in the round with equal numbers of the congregation facing each other throughout the service. There was no one in front of me as I spoke with everyone either to my left or right. So I sort of spun round throughout the talk. The venue is the Norman Foster designed Thomas Deacon Academy. And the church is vibrant and going from strength to strength. Great lunch with the elders afterwards. A stimulating conversation.
