Regions Beyond! Hope Church in Bromley & Orpington

Here’s a report about last Sunday at Hope Church in Bromley . . . Well the first thing to say is that Hope Church is made up of two congregations. And a huge thank you and well done to all the people from the Orpington church who came to St Luke’s Bromley for the day. It’s a venue that I first preached in two years ago, when it still had all the pews in, (the building is leased from the Church of England) and now the pews have gone, the whole thing feels very different. I really enjoyed the worship and the talk seemed to go well, as far as I could tell? It was great to see Sue Lowe afterwards, and to meet Charles Glass for the first time, and in particular to have lunch afterwards with Rachel and Trevor Payne and to hear all about Regions Beyond. Regions Beyond is one of the “newfrontiers spheres.” It is led by Steve Oliver from Gateway Church, Dubai, and there are 16 churches in the UK that are part of it, including several that have been overseen for many years by Ray Lowe. The Regions Beyond churches include (as far as I understand it) Durham, Gloucester, Worthing, Bath, Penge, Biggin Hill, and Swindon.
