We had 174 students come to today’s lunch bar on “Can you trust the Bible?” at Newcastle University. I took questions today on the Qu’ran, the Gnostic Gospels, and whether high living standards in Sweden, a predominantly secular country undermine the truth claims of Christianity? Also “what about those who have never heard about Jesus?” and “what about Old Testament teaching, is that still relevant today, and if Jesus updated it, what was the point of God giving it to us in the first place?”
