Last night I spoke to around 200 students at Newcastle University at the first Christian Union meeting of term. It was a great occasion, and I am loving working with CU President James Street and the exec team who I met earlier this month at UCCF’s Forum event.
Afterwards we all went to the Student Union nightclub, and then we all went to McDonalds. It was just like old times! I stayed the night in Jesmond with James. Another highlight was meeting biologist Jonathan McLatchie, a leading light in research within the Intelligent Design movement. More to follow on my time with Jonathan . . .
