Alpha innovations

Adrian Holloway on May 14, 2013 with 0 Comments

I went to a great seminar at St Paul’s, Onslow Square, where one of the HTB curates, Al Gordon hosted several speakers who announced various cunning Alpha innovations.

The most visible one is a major re-branding. The Alpha logo is more than 20 years old. That man has been struggling to hold that question mark, while bouncing a football on his knee for so long that something new was needed. An uber cool branding chief executive who is part of Kensington Temple explained that the question mark will remain. But from now on it will be just a red question mark super-imposed on loads of different people (e.g. a girl outside her flat locked out, asking “where are my keys?”).

Also Alpha TV will have a re-vamp enabling anyone to live stream the Alpha talks from HTB, where 1000 gather every Wednesday night. The talks are now a maximum of 30 minutes.

Numerous other bright ideas regarding social media, were trailed, and some high tech applications.
