Report on this morning at New Life Church, Milton Keynes North

Adrian Holloway on March 31, 2013 with 0 Comments

I so enjoyed a great Easter Sunday celebration with around 400 people at New Life Church, Milton Keynes, North. This is a church I’ve been going to for many years, but over the past two years they have grown tremendously. They purchased a huge warehouse, and have grown steadily since then, but the growth does seem to have speeded up! When I was there last which was for Easter Sunday two years ago, there was still some space at the back and at the sides of the auditorium, but this morning, they were properly full, with people sitting on the floor at the side by the curtains. There was a great atmosphere throughout the meeting, and they made me feel very welcome as always. Much thanks to Richard Wightman, who leads the church, his wife Helen, their son Mark, who I had much fun at the expense of. It was also great to see my friend Malcolm Down from Authentic Media, and a couple of old friends from Christ Church, London. Having spent so much of the last 12 months arguing from historical evidence for the authenticity of Christ’s physical resurrection it was great to be in what felt like a party this morning, living in the good of it.
