Thrilled to speak at the 400 strong Chafford Hundred Community Church for the first time this morning.

There were just over 400 people at Chafford Hundred Community Church this morning, where I preached a message to encourage those who follow Jesus to share their faith. The church doubled in size when they moved into their new venue at The Harris Academy about 3 years ago. They leafletted about 6000 homes nearby and a large number of new people arrived. They reckon they are 60 per cent black, and it was marvellous to have the privilege of speaking to a such a multi-cultural congregation. I had the joy of having lunch at Leon Ringlemnn’s house with a whole host of leaders. Lovely conversation with David and Anita Bareham, who lead the church about their Salvation Army days!
