Rome: A History of the Eternal City

The most positive portrayal of Christianity I’ve seen for a long time is still available on BBC iPlayer. I found the whole of the first two episodes deeply moving. In fact Simon Sebag Montefiore even echoes (without realizing it) an “evidence for the resurrection” talk as he talks about the rise and rise of Christianity. The end of episode 1 and the start of episode 2 is like watching the Rev Michael Green take his classic book “Evangelism in the Early Church” onto the television. Amazing scenes from the catacombs. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01p65l8/Rome_A_History_of_the_Eternal_City_Episode_1/
