86 people who said that they are not part of any church prayed the response prayer when I spoke at Christ Church Clifton Carol Services on Sunday

At Christ Church, Clifton in Bristol on Sunday, 86 people who ticked the box to say that they are not part of any church, also ticked the box on the feedback cards to say that they prayed the response prayer across the 2 Carol Services I spoke at. Before I left, I had heard that there were 40 who made this response at the 5.30pm service, and I’ve just got an email to say that there were still more, from the 8.00pm service.  It was a great atmosphere, and the choir and orchestra and gospel choir were all outstandingly good. Many thanks to vicar Paul Langham and to curate Andy Murray, and to Chris Whitwell and Tabi Evans, of the Emerging Generation team who all hosted me brilliantly and were very kind to me. I’ve attached a photo of some of the 8.00pm crowd who stayed on afterwards for mulled punch which was served outside in the street. In fact Christ Church, Clifton get an annual road closure for the event so that everyone who comes can congregate outside, and traffic is coned off and diverted. What a huge privilege to be involved.
