Newday 2012 – Pt 2 (of 3)

This is part 2 of 3 of a healing and salvation Newday 2012 report . . .

So I went for it, praying for healing for about 10 minutes probably.

After the blanket prayer for healing, 299 people reported that they’d been healed. We had 265 who had filled out a healing response card with a ministry team member between 7.45pm and 8.00pm (i.e. these are people whose healing was immediate enough for them to report it within 15 minutes of my prayer ending), and then we had a further 34 who discovered they were healed later (for example those with food intolerances, and allergies etc, who need time to find out if they were healed.) I picked up the 34 additional cards yesterday morning.

So amongst those healed at Newday 2012, who came on stage, we had reports of people healed from various hearing problems, someone who’d worn contact lenses for 5 years, but said he no longer needs them. Another who’d had a birth injury to his left ankle, who said his foot had grown by about an inch. Another guy came on stage holding two green transparency sheets that he had needed to overlay onto text in order to read. He said he’d been immediately healed and had missed the whole of my sermon because he’d read 12 chapters of the bible, reading normally, un-aided. He was very excited about it. Another guy said he’d been allergic to cheese, chocolate and orange, to the extent that he’d blacked out or fainted after eating these several times in the past. He had eaten all of the above with no reaction. These are just some of the ones that I can remember, I’ve only been back for a couple of hours and am writing this while unpacking. We had a team of 4 doctors at the side of the stage, as we do at every Newday, who chat to those who have been healed. No-one goes on stage to give a healing testimony until they have been seen by one of our 4 doctors.

More to follow in part 3, coming up . . .
