Olympic healings and salvation

We were at the Olympic basketball this morning. Beginning with Czech Republic v China! I’ve seldom seen so many British people in such a good mood! I left Canada vs Russia before the end to head off to Rochester where I was the guest speaker at the fourth consecutive night of an evangelistic campaign in a tent in Rochester. It’s an Olympic themed tent meeting! There were around 300 people there, and I was thrilled to hear the testimonies of 8 people who were healed in the worship after I prayed over everyone a sort of ‘blanket prayer’. I then prayed for a guy 1 on 1 who had struggled with damage to his shoulders for 8 years. The pain was brought on by lifting heavy objects. After prayer we walked around the tent looking for the heaviest thing we could find. I challenged him to lift a table in the name of Jesus. “It’s gone!” he said. Not the table. The pain had gone. There were 4 or 5 similar reports. I then preached and 6 people responded for salvation. I stayed late praying for various people and am now on the train back to London. I was with happy people all day! Everyone on the Olympic Park this morning was glowing, full of excitement, as were the folks who were healed tonight! Anyway, we’re now off on holiday for 10 days. A holiday that starts tomorrow with Olympic Volleyball down the road at Earl’s Court at 9.30am, and then, we’re all off to Centre Court, Wimbledon, where I have paid the princely sum of £3 to enable my 3 year old to watch Andy Murray. We only applied for “pay your age” tickets. So each of our 4 children pay their age. C’mon Andy, you’ve got 6 Holloways cheering for you!
