Healing & Salvation in Horsham

There were 10 people who came forward to tell us they’d been healed after a “blanket” prayer for healing at King’s Church, Horsham this morning. I’d seen one woman use sticks, one in each hand, to help her move around the hall before the meeting started. She came up to the front without her sticks, to tell us that she’d been healed and that she’d come all the way from Bromley in Kent to be prayed for. I was delighted to see how many different conditions were healed. We then had some 1 on 1 prayer, and a very good testimony of healing from arthritic pain came out of that. I then preached on John 3:16, and in the first appeal for salvation 5 people responded. And then in a second and final invitation, an additional 5 responded for salvation. Pastor Andy Robinson was very pleased to be able to say that attendance was 30 per cent up on a typical Sunday. In fact the first person I met this morning when I arrived told me: “I’ve brought 4 of my neighbours, one of whom has previously told me ‘you’ll never get me in that church.'” So a huge well done to Andy and the church for inviting so many newcomers along. There was a great feel good factor.
