Great time with Mark & Bev Landreth-Smith as Holloways visit Camberley
Adrian Holloway on January 22, 2012 with 0 CommentsI first met Mark Landreth-Smith when I was 16, and he was the captain of the opposition football team. He was a commanding midfield general who strode around effortlessly bossing the game. I was a hapless central defender and I couldn’t get near him. We lost heavily. But everything about Mark is impressive and he has been very very kind to me over the years.
26 years after that football match, I took my wife and 4 children over to his excellent church, The Beacon Church, Camberley, and we then had lunch with him, his amazing wife Bev, and their 4 grown-up children. Later Adam Landreth-Smith’s fiancee arrived dressed as a princess (that’s her job!) and my youngest girls were totally starstruck. What a great day. We are so blessed to have them as our friends.
