It was great to be back at Chafford Hundred in Essex on Sunday, where my talk was live-streamed via Facebook to their Chadwell St. Mary and South Ockenden sites. This is a church, which, including their new Basildon venue has around 400 people attending on a Sunday. It was my fourth visit there and I spoke on “Hasn’t Science Buried God?” I had some good discussions afterwards about whether Adam & Eve were “real people”. I very much enjoyed lunch with David & Anita Bareham. David has led the church for many years, whilst also continuing one day a week bi-vocationally as a businessman and accountant. I was really encouraged by David & Anita’s determination to reach people locally with the gospel and make disciples. They are very focused and even better, they have a specific plan that involves intentional training. Fantastic!
