An after dinner talk at Sheffield University

Adrian Holloway on September 25, 2018 with 0 Comments

Following on from a couple of lunch time talks and Q & A in the student union at Sheffield University on Friday, I returned for an evening after dinner talk called “Is there more to life than this?” It was great to hear one of the organisers say afterwards that they had “around 50 new people” attend. I hope that it was a great first experience for them. On the way there, I drove past the Tony Currie stand at Bramall Lane and then walked past the city centre night clubs to get there on Saturday night. Big thanks to Katie Shaw a friend from City Church, Sheffield, who is the UCCF staff worker there, and also to Tom Featherstone, a worship leader at Everyday Church, Wimbledon who despite only being a student at Sheffield for about 2 days, did a great job of welcoming me and making me feel at home in the Student Union upstairs bar.
