What happened at Bradford University

I am at a motorway service station, on my way from Exeter to speaking at tomorrow night’s Carol Service in Norwich Cathedral hosted by the University of East Anglia Christian Union. This is the first chance I’ve had to share about a great night I had in Bradford on Monday, when I spoke at the Bradford University CU Carol Service. This is a university where the official university chaplain, who read one of the readings at the start of the service, described the undergraduate population as “75 per cent Muslim”. It’s a CU of about 15 people, who despite slender resources, put on a great Carol Service at a local Anglican Church building (pictured). When going through the feedback forms afterwards, we found there were 6 people who told us they are not part of any church, nor part of the Christian Union, who had prayed the salvation response prayer. This is great news, and a massive well done to this pioneering CU. Great to see my friend and supporter Stu Morris, from City Valley Church there too.
