At Nottingham Uni & Everyday Church

Here’s some of the crowd on Friday night just before I spoke at Nottingham University, where the Christian Union put on a great event. It felt like we had 100 chairs and 200 people. I was delighted to meet Millie Watkins, whose father, James, was a great school friend of mine, who I’m still in contact with. Millie’s organising the upcoming Nottingham Uni CU Carol Service. There was a superb story told by Zac, who described how he’d recently become a Christian. Afterwards I found out that 11 people had ticked a box to say that they either wanted to become a Christian or wanted to find out more. On Sunday I was back at my home church, Everyday Church, Wimbledon, preaching number 13 in our “The Joy of Being God” series from Hebrews chapter 8. We had 3 baptisms at our venue, and all three Diego, Andrea, and Donna, spoke really well about how God had changed their lives.
