Speaking at Everyday Church, Wimbledon

Adrian Holloway on October 11, 2017 with 0 Comments

It was great to back speaking at my home church, Everyday Wimbledon last Sunday 8th Oct, at our 9.30am, 11.30pm and 7pm services. I talked about how we first moved from Harrow to Wimbledon in 1976 and how I ended up visiting what is now Everyday Wimbledon for the first time many years later. On Saturday 7th, I’d met an old friend who was the bouncer on the door at my 18th birthday party, as well as several other friends from those days. At our evening service it was really encouraging to meet several medical students from St. George’s. It was this evening service that was my first point of connection with evangelical Christianity. At Everyday, we’re in a series called “The Joy of Being God” at the moment. My title was “The Joy of Rescuing.” On Thursday of last week I was at Catalyst Prayer and Fasting in Milton Keynes, which is an event I go to each year. Great to hang out with the hugely encouraging Scott Taylor from Reading Family Church.
