I’ve not preached in Walsall before, so it was great to be inside Church on the Rock’s excellent building, where we had a first ever coming together of Worship Central, (Tim Hughes, now back in Birmingham) and Newday. Simon Brading et al travelled up from Brighton to Walsall, and after Tom Smith led the first block of worship, I delivered an evangelistic message to the young people there. After which we had 12 who responded for salvation. Then Simon and Sam Cox led us on. I got back in the car and started the long cross country trek towards Lowestoft, Suffolk, where I was doing an Alpha Launch the following morning.
