A great first day at “Devoted”

I saw around 20 children aged 8 – 11 report an immediate physical healing on the first night of Devoted at the Newark Showground tonight when I prayed in Jesus name. In addition there were 27 who responded to Jesus at the end of my talk. Earlier I’d done an adult seminar in the main venue tackling various scientific objections to theism. We had some great questions afterwards about molecular anthropology, Y-Chromosonal Adam and Mitochondrial Eve. The highlight of the day for me was seeing my great friend Rhys Scott playing his guitar (I’ve not seen Rhys on stage for 3 years because he moved from London to Canada) in the main meeting this morning, and again this evening, and also listening to Jeremy Simpkins brilliant preaching about Moses tonight. I sneaked into the main meeting after I’d finished in the other venue and it was marvellous to hear Jeremy (pictured) in full cry. The day began with a morning prayer meeting, where it was great to pray with Terry Virgo and Jeremy and a handful of others. And then I did a live interview on UCB radio with Paul Hammond, which was fun as well. Looking forward to more of the same tomorrow.
